More messing about. This time in Alias Sketchbook Pro.
Its alot messier than the last pic but I just really trying out the custom brush settings and getting a feel for them. Also trying out blending colors in Sketchbook.
Unlike Photoshop you can't directly manipulate the brush eg: opacity and flow and whatnot, you have to go into the brush setting which is quicker in Sketch than in Photoshop which is a plus. I also found out you can also use ALT to select a color … stupid me, should of read the manual ;)
Greetings

An Apple
Here a go at "Digital Painting" … or in others words just messing about. ;)
Not a masterpiece and certainly can use alot more work (I'm lazy, thats why I'm posting it now), but I like it.
I reinstalled Photoshop CS2 to do this, cause my poor little laptop couldn't handle big old mean CS3.
……… maybe its time to think about getting a new laptop ……… -_-'

BUTTER MONKEY
…… Behold the Greatness of the one and only ……
…… BUTTER MONKEY ……
Based on a totally random something that came from somewhere …… ;)
The actual picture I drew quite quickly. For those of you that may interest it, all of it was drawn and colored in Alisas Sketchbook via Wacom Drawing Tablet.
The background and text was done in Photoshop. It took be ages to decide on a background and using Japanese typo was just a spontaneous decision. Looks quite good though.

Gaiaonline #2
All of these pics were sketched and drawn in Autodesk (previously Alias) Sketchbook Pro with the original picture of the avatar as a guide. Then colored in Photoshop.
Here's the next batch of Pictures … Enjoy

Gaiaonline #1
Gaia Online a fun and time consuming community site where there are games, forums and worlds and whatnot. Has in-game cash which can be earned by playing games, posting in the forums and hundreds of other possibilities. This cash can be used to buy items to decorate and make your Avatar.
I did for some people on the site drawings of their Avatars. I thought I'd post them here (there quite a few so they'll be in separate posts). The whole Idea was to draw the Avatars with a cookie. Since people also wanted different goodies, I just added something else( e.g: Chocolate, Burrito, Pie etc.)
First one of me … this is where the Idea came from … you might recognize it as a panel of a comic in one of the older posts ;)
Here now the first five from 25"commissions" …
… stay tuned. Still 20 more ;)
